Trinseo to Promote its Resins for Drug Delivery Device Applications

Company highlights medical plastics portfolio at MD&M West and Pharmapack

BERWYN, Pa. - Tuesday, February 6, 2018

Trinseo (NYSE: TSE), a global materials solutions provider and manufacturer of plastics, latex binders and synthetic rubber, will promote its resins for drug delivery devices at two events this week: MD&M West in Anaheim, California at Booth 1952 from February 6 – 8, 2018 and at Pharmapack in Paris at Hall F.1 Stand G13 from February 7 – 8, 2018.

As the medical industry continues to innovate and bring life enhancing devices to market, self-administered therapies are becoming commonplace. Trinseo supports this growth trend by offering materials to medical devices and pharmaceutical manufacturers that enable performance, functionality, usability, and aesthetics.

Trinseo’s specialty compounded solutions are used for an array of applications including:

Other applications include auto injectors, insulin pens, inhalers, prefilled syringes, and wearable devices.

Trinseo has been supporting the medical devices industry for nearly 30 years and, with its ISO 13485 certification, is recognized for its strong commitment to quality and customer compliance requirements.

Because of its recent acquisition of API, Trinseo now offers a strong portfolio of soft-touch polymers to complement its rigid performance plastics. Soft touch polymers are well suited for drug delivery devices in areas such as soft-touch grips and drip chamber applications.
